Lisa Sheehan is the Founder and CEO of Sand Hill Search and a veteran of the executive search business. Prior to establishing Sand Hill in 2001, Lisa was the co-founder and managing partner for eleven years of Optimum Executive Search with offices in San Francisco and Seattle. Lisa started Sand Hill with a vision for a more highly specialized boutique firm dedicated to providing a thorough and consultative approach to executive search. She specializes on executive level searches at the vice president and director levels in the areas of engineering, marketing, and business development as well as building out these new organizations with senior individual contributors.
Lisa’s expertise and interests lie in the Internet and E-Commerce/E-Marketing , Media/Broadcast/Entertainment, On-Demand and Enterprise Software focused on Data Integration, Business Intelligence and Analytics, as well as other Enterprise Automation product offerings. These particular areas are where she has maintained solid, long term relationships with her clients and candidates over the years.
Lisa considers herself more of a consultant than recruiter, working closely with top tier clients assisting them in making organizational decisions and selecting the most appropriate new members for their growing teams. Conversely, she only works with the very best candidates... those who have proven track records, have demonstrated a commitment to their industry, and have added tremendous value to their previous employers. In recent years her portfolio of customers has grown beyond the Bay Area and onto a Global scale.
A native of California, Lisa attended UC Berkeley where she studied French, Russian and European history and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities.
